We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and creative Entry-Level Social Media Account Manager to join the Adapting Social team. In this role, you won’t just be posting to a feed—you will own the social strategy, content creation, and distribution for a diverse portfolio of brands.
The ideal candidate doesn't wait for instructions or content to fall into their lap; they take the initiative to research, pitch and create engaging content independently. Because this is an agency environment, you will also serve as a direct point of contact for our clients, making exceptional communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor absolute must-haves.
Build & Execute Strategy: Develop comprehensive social media strategies for multiple brands across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Proactive Content Creation: Take the initiative to concept, write, and design high-engaging multimedia content (copy, graphics, short-form video) tailored to each brand’s unique voice.
Advance Planning: Maintain a strict content calendar, building out, scheduling, and securing approvals for all assets one full month in advance.
Trend Spotting: Actively monitor internet culture, memes, and platform updates to swiftly pitch and implement relevant, timely ideas for clients.
Client Communications: Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for your assigned brands, leading check-in calls and managing email correspondence with a high level of professionalism.
Reporting & Analytics: Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and assist in compiling monthly reports to showcase ROI and strategic insights to clients.
Community Management: Monitor channels daily, actively engaging with followers, responding to comments/DMs, and fostering genuine online communities for our brands.
Cross-Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams—including graphic designers, copywriters, paid media specialists, and account directors—to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience managing social media platforms professionally (internship experience within an agency setting is highly preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Impeccable written and verbal communication. You can write witty caption copy just as effortlessly as you can craft a polished, professional email to a corporate client.
The "Intrepid" Mindset: A self-starter who takes initiative. You bring fresh ideas to the table instead of waiting for the client or team to hand you assets.
Tools of the Trade: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Loomly), design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and short-form video editing (CapCut, in-app editors).
Organization: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
